Contrary to popular belief a low carb diet may not always be the answer for how to lose weight. In fact the world health organisation (WHO) states that a person must get 55-75% of their total energy from carbohydrates. If you don’t consume enough carbs your body will begin to breakdown its muscles for fuel during your workout. So instead of burning fat you will deplete your muscle mass.
